Planned Services

A focused, phased transportation operation.

The launch plan begins with smaller legally eligible hot-shot freight and expands only after operating history, reserves, equipment, licensing, and demand support the next step.

Year 1 focus

Hot-shot freight

Planned owner-operated transport using equipment combinations that are legal for the driver's license and actual truck/trailer ratings.

Scheduling

Disciplined load selection

Loads are evaluated for deadhead, fuel, timing, equipment compatibility, maintenance reserve, and overall margin — not just the posted rate.

Growth

Phased expansion

Heavier Class A work and a hired Class A driver are future growth steps, not assumed at launch.

How we plan to operate

Compliance before capacity.

Dan's Carolina Transport is being built around a conservative launch sequence: get the legal, insurance, equipment, and operating pieces right before expanding freight capacity.

01 • Verify

Authority & insurance

Service begins only after required registrations, operating authority, insurance, and compliance requirements are active for the exact operation.

02 • Operate

Owner-operated launch

Initial freight is limited to loads and combinations the owner can legally and safely operate, with customer communication and documented load decisions.

03 • Expand

Earn the next phase

Additional equipment utilization and Class A staffing follow real results — stable cash flow, adequate reserves, and dependable freight demand.

Equipment Plan

Right-sized for the phase.

The current business plan uses a one-truck strategy with separate trailer roles so the operation can grow without assuming full-scale capacity on day one.

Primary power unitPlanned used diesel 1-ton dually with integrated trailer brakes and gooseneck capability.
Year-1 freight trailerPlanned 20-foot, 10K GVWR flatbed with brakes, spare tire, winch, and commercial securement equipment.
Future / staged trailerApprox. 36-foot, 14K GVWR gooseneck/deckover for broader freight capability when the legal driver/equipment configuration supports it.
Service areaLower-48 interstate for-hire property carriage is the planned operating scope, subject to active authority, insurance, legal weight, and route requirements.
